We celebrated one year of having the dogs on April 13th. Wow, has it really only been one year? Maya and I love the dogs (Josh not so much) but my goodness they are a lot of work! It seems so long ago that we were patching up that hole they dug in our kitchen wall. That was nothing compared to the state our back yard is in now. I keep assuring Josh that we will get it looking nice again - even nicer than it was. Any offers of help in the yard are welcome!

I spent every day of the first 6 months of having Henry regretting being so stupid in getting him, despite absolutely loving him. He was such hard work and the house and garden were a constant mess. The next 6 months were a little easier but he still demanded a lot of attention, so you're definitely not alone! We are hopeful that he'll leave our garden alone this year but who knows! Lucy and Drover are absolutely beautiful.
I'm glad you rescued them because I'm sure they would have been put to sleep with how sick they were when you adopted them. They're very cute.
I just knew that Karen and Tara would beat me to the comment box on this one about the dogs!!! They look lovely and I'm sure they give you lots of love. Good luck with the garden.
Sam just came in and said, "I love Lucy." So, I'm glad you have your dogs so my boys can play with them without me needing to do the work!
I hope things get easier for you as they get older. They are beautiful dogs.
We just never leave Millie outside unsupervised. Our yard still looks perfect. Not super easy to do, but maybe easier than fixing your yard.
